Microsoft Internet Explorer Unicode Character Handling DoS Vulnerability

It has been reported that Microsoft Internet Explorer crashes when accessing a URL containing an excessive number of unicode characters.

It is not known what causes this to occur. It may not be possible to reproduce this issue on all environments, including two different systems running the same version of the Microsoft Windows operating system with the same version of Internet Explorer.

It has been suggested that this vulnerability is caused by a buffer overflow condition.
