Macromedia Flash ActiveX Control Bandwidth Consumption Vulnerability
The Macromedia Flash Player is available as an ActiveX plugin for Microsoft Internet Explorer. An issue in version 6 of this component may result in excessive bandwidth consumption. Under some conditions, the Flash Player may download content which is no longer relevant, consuming uneccessary bandwidth. As these files can be large, this may result in a denial of service condition. |
