NJStar Communicator MiniSMTP Server Remote Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
NJStar Communicator MiniSMTP Server is prone to a remote stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it into an insufficiently sized memory buffer. Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application. Failed attacks may cause a denial-of-service condition. NJStar Communicator 3.00 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected. |
