UnixWare / Open UNIX ppptalk Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
UnixWare and Open UNIX are operating systems maintained by Caldera Systems. A vulnerability has been reported in the version of ppptalk included with some versions of Caldera UnixWare and Open UNIX. A malicious local user may be able to exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges on the vulnerable system. By default, ppptalk runs suid root. |
