Drupal String Overrides Module HTML Injection Vulnerability

The String Overrides module for Drupal is prone to an HTML-injection vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in dynamically generated content.

Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would run in the context of the affected browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or control how the site is rendered to the user. Other attacks are also possible.

String Overrides 6.x-1.8 and 5.x-1.8 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
