AnalogX SimpleServer:Shout Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
SimpleServer:Shout is a multithreaded streaming mp3 server by AnalogX. An exploitable buffer overflow has been reported in SimpleServer:Shout, which could enable a remote user to execute arbitrary commands as the Shout daemon. This is possible if a malformed request is submitted to port 8001 on a Shout host. |
