Novell NetMail ModWeb Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
A vulnerability has been reported for versions Novell Netmail 3.1 and 3.0.3. A buffer overflow condition exists in the vulnerable versions of the software that may allow a remote attacker to obtain root privileges. The vulnerabilty exists in the ModWeb module of Netmail. When certain data is received by the ModWeb module, the buffer overflow condition is triggered. |
