HP Secure OS For Linux PTrace / IOCTL Unauthorized Process Access Vulnerability
A vulnerability has been reported in HP Secure OS Software for Linux. Reportedly, flaws exist in the ptrace and ioctl kernel calls. Reportedly, the flaw will allow a local attacker unauthorized access to process data. Although further details have not been released, the nature of this issue suggests that elevated privileges may be obtained. This vulnerability may be related to the issues discussed in BID 3447. |
