PostgreSQL cash_words Function Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported for PostgreSQL. Reportedly, PostgreSQL doesn't properly handle overly long queries when selecting the cash_words() function. Successful exploitation of this issue may enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code as the database server process. |
