Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey 'defaultValue()' Security Bypass Vulnerability

Mozilla Firefox, SeaMonkey, and Thunderbird are prone to a security-bypass vulnerability.

An attacker can exploit this issue to bypass certain security restrictions and perform unauthorized actions; this may aid in launching further attacks.

Note: This issue was previously discussed in BID 55889 (Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey MFSA 2012-88/89 Multiple Vulnerabilities), but have been moved to their own record to better document them.
