HP has reported a vulnerability in its implementation of the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP). The condition is described as allowing a remote system to "take over packets destined for another host" under certain circumstances to cause a denial of service condition. The technical nature of this vulnerability is not clear, however HP rates severity as high and patches should be applied. |
