Mac OS X NetInfo Manager Unauthorized Access Vulnerability
NetInfo Manager is a utility for Mac OS X, distributed and maintained by Apple. It has been reported that the NetInfo Manager does not sufficiently drop privileges prior to execution. Because of this, operations carried out through the program are executed with elevated privileges. Due to insecure design of the program, this issue could be exploited to abuse system resources. |
