Pidgin 'libpurple' CVE-2013-0272 HTTP Header Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Pidgin is prone to a remote stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied input.

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the user running the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

Versions prior to Pidgin 2.10.7 are vulnerable.
