Apple has announced that fixes are forthcoming in the form of a software update.
It has been reported by SGI that patches previously released were not compatible with each other. A new advisory containing working fixes has been released. Further details regarding this change can be found in the referenced advisory. Users of versions without available patches are advised to upgrade to IRIX 6.5.18 or later.
