Multiple Gnocatan Server Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

Solution:
Debian has released an advisory (DSA 315-1) that addresses this issue. Please see the attached advisory for details on obtaining and applying fixes.

It is not known if the Gnocatan vendor has released a fixed version.

Gentoo Linux has released an advisory. Users who have installed app-games/gnocatan are advised to upgrade to gnocatan-0.7.1-r3 by issuing the following commands:

emerge sync
emerge gnocatan
emerge clean
