NullSoft Winamp Malformed File Name Denial of Service Vulnerability
It has been reported that Winamp may be prone to a denial of service vulnerability when processing malformed file names. This issue is reported to present itself when a file with a malformed file name is processed by the application. Specifically, if the file name contains an excessive amount of characters and has '.mid' extension. Winamp 5.01 an prior were reported to be prone to this issue, however, it is possible that other versions are affected as well. |
