I have a website which i want to test against this, i just want to see how things work without capthca, if i rely on POST and Connect. Please suggest any tool or script. If I have a fully patched SSH server on port 22 it will get 500 scans a day. If I have a fully patched SSH server on port 25022 it will get 1 scan a day. This changes my risk. I would try something like ping -c 1 -b 192.168.0.255 > hosts and then grep and sed around. Or what about "for i in `seq 0 254`; do ping -c 1 192.168.0.$i; done > hosts" and then grepping.
