Exactly what improvements to security, and for whom? The end user? Or the people under the DRM umbrella? All the more reason to ignore this...

Considering the fact that NGSCB is at hardware level it sounds like your screwed. Reverse engineers will have an extremely hard time, and what about the average user? M$ knowing your every move? For everything that looks perhaps bad about this, Microsoft is moving in the right direction. I hope that people can see that and support Microsoft on this move. It is hard to always be fighting everyone on every front. First fighting people because everyone uses your OS so they all criticize it ...

I have been an admin for both M$, and *nix boxes. Let me say that first off, ANY OS can be compromised...

With that, I believe(that is to say...'my opinion') that *nix gives the administrator more to work with. I can't change kernel features, and disable things that I don't need directly in the ...
