Congratulations to finally establish this great technology. But I don?t understand why you would use convenience as the main motive? Sure it is nice not to have all these stupid cards in your wallet but I am more concern about security in this insecure world!

Surely you jest?

Many methods are available, and it's already been done. Use google - you'll find insidents where this technology was fooled by a copied print.

Ever seen Gattaca?

Heck, it can me done with products from a hobby-shop or any glue/chemical/fiberglas...

Although stealing bio information may be more difficult than credit cards, you cannot cancel your fingerprint. Should your bio information be stolen and put to ill use, your only option would be to have your accounts cancelled and never use the service again. What will be done to remedy this situati...

Even past this, what are the success/deny ratio here. Biometrics may have come a long way but they are still prone to false positives or negatives. I would prefer to use all three. Convenience is not having to go correct your credit report....

But one way to counter the "stolen fingerprint" scenario is to couple the biometric with a second or third form of authentication (a secret pin code, password, or voice print, for example). This is a vitally important issue with all of biometrics. Identification can be established by three means, something you have something you know and something you are.
