Blackmal virus set to delete files

Security experts urged companies on Wednesday to clean their networks of a malicious mass-mailing computer virus, before compromised systems reach the first trigger date and start deleting eleven types of files.

you are wrong !!!

the virus didn't delete any network file, just put themselve via network share/drive.

you told that the virus erase a lot of corporate data by network share because user has write access blablabla. . . it's not true blackmal don't do this . . . so 1/5 of your text is like a bulls...

This worm like all others can be stopped by an application of common sense, good security policy, and a little user training... any Admin that gives users write/delete access to critical Windows file locations, and fails to have a complete backup of their data is about to be show the error of their ...

Hi all

I dont know how long peoples will get infected with this virus. Some of my clients were hit by this but there is a recovery package that really helped. "Recover my files". Thoough the file names were lost I was able to recover almost 99% of the files in proper form. Try out
