Seven arrested in online fraud crackdown

The U.S. Secret Service arrested seven people across the nation this week as part of an ongoing investigation that has turned up links to the massive debit-card breaches which have worried banks and consumers.

All the money they make and online vendors cant spend some on online security to protect their customers? Adding more security to online purchasing will prevent the fear off online shopping..

As far as the arrests go, they shouldnt just be arrested but at least interrogated as to how they cracked...

At least tell us what states were involved. My debit card was compromised a little over a month ago. Thankfully, I check my online banking and caught a charge that I did not make. The charge was in Atlanta and Illinois. If I had waited for my bank statement, my account would have been cleaned out....

I think they should name the people who are involved also. I wonder if the reason they don't give names is because they are using the criminals to track even bigger online criminals. Sometimes it takes a criminal to catch a criminal. All I can say is.......Good for the Secret Service, it is about...
