Clearly this has no chance of working unless sex offenders have to register every e-mail address. For that to work, of course, every company that gives out e-mail addresses would have to require identification and that's something that will never happen. It would also require MySpace itself to requi...

I think the email solution won't work. I mean, it's a start and protecting children is definately a priority. But I am sure that there are tons of perverted men on myspace and not even a fraction of them have been convicted. So to prevent a convicted sex offender from using myspace is a smart thi...

"...Flag personal emails that contain sexual contents. (Meaning, if someone is talking sexual, capture there username and analyze/track there inbox on myspace. See if that user is also talking sexual with other users. ect... More than likely, it's a predator (a predator does not alway...

This is the stupidest idea i've ever heard of. Most of the 550,000 have paid thier debt to society over a single offense and should have a chance to move on. If this new Sentinel Safe system(if it even works) flags a profile, some due process should be given...maybe it can be an initial flag to lo...

I am currently one of those "convicted sex offenders." I was accused of something very stupid and I did my sentence. Through it all, I lost my wife, my kids, and my career. Because of an idiotic technicality, I am listed for life which probably means about 45-50 years for me. Countless research ...

This is now a reality. I know of at least one person whose profile has already been deleted from MySpace despite the fact that the incident in question occurred over ten years ago when he was a young boy. Nine times out of ten I find the ACLU to be too liberal and I seldom am fully on board with t...

Yeah, but that database isn't going to stop the ones who can create bogus accounts on yahoo and hotmail and all those other free email web sites. I know there are a bunch of them that hide behind a fake name and still get on myspace.com. It isn't hard to do....
