U.S. calls for more organized cyber response

SAN FRANCISCO -- The United States' top cybersecurity official renewed calls on Thursday for companies to step up and help the federal government manage threats to critical infrastructure and the Internet.

Folks, you can't expect our governments to know what's good for us. That's called the "Nanny State" and it's widely and justly regarded as a bad idea. Likewise, police can't keep a city safe without participation from local citizens. And to do that, you need people who are savvy enough to notice ...

It's simple. You find vunerabilities for a job, to make money. While we do it to learn. We are more motivated, better prepared and smarter.

We are genually interested in computer security whereas you do it because you must to get along in life.
