Foiled by increasingly accurate corporate spam filters, spammers have dumped pictures for PDFs in their bulk e-mailings, according to the latest data from security firms.

HTML table-based text scrambling

image-based

tiled multi-image based

pdf based..

Next Gen spammers will have to figure out how to atttach their junk mail to a sender's legitimate e-mail. There's no blocking that.

The trick is whhether some kind of malware would be required, either on the sender's machine or the mailserver, to make it happen....

mp3 & avi can be blocked entirely from most businesses, as most businesses have no need for them. Thats the beauty (unfortunately) of pdf spam. If I blocked pdf's mutiny would occur....

If no one bought anything the spammers were selling, that would help to end spam. The stupid people who fall for products or stocks sold via spam are almost as much to blame as the spammers....

I have notice for many years that Most bulk e-mailings images and PDFs comes from the 37 countries that have the Dead Penalty. So, how come the Dead Penalty does not apply to spammers who use the Internet? Why do these 37 countries have a double standard? Are they afraid of those Humans Rights organ...
