Fraudsters focus on job sites

Prospective workers that use job sites to gain exposure for their résumés may also be exposing their personal information to fraudsters, according to recent research by security companies.

I guess it is the first topic on securityfocus that had me think "wow, it could have been my personal data" and that scares me. Where does the world go......

I got a letter from Monster dated August 23rd 2007 stating that my information was compromised. I spoke with someone at Monster today and they confirmed that the letter was not standard and that only those who had been affected would receive a letter. I'm a little shocked and feeling a bit powerless...

its a simple privacy issue that most sites are dealing with by implementing a host of great options for the user. BTW just checked out that jobbi.com site, very smooth...
