An American computer security consultant on Friday admitted to using massive botnets to illegally install software on at least 250,000 machines and steal the online banking identities of Windows users by eavesdropping on them while they made financial transactions.

More than likely, he will end up working for the government. Let's face it, he got way to bold, didn't take a lot of precautions, and he had other people working with him; he was more focused on making that money, than thinking of getting caught....

Just the tip of the iceberg I fear. May be time to fire up my linux computer for net use and head off to the bank on friday to do my banking. It's a sad thing that so few affect the lives of so many.

I suggest you install Firefox and Thunderbird after a clean install. Paranoia is the only way....
