The media has stated that his online psuedonym is "solo" -while the real "solo" from the .uk is still at large!

He wasn't scanning for RA installations, he was installing RA on machines he had already compromised using other methods....

Calling RemotelyAnywhere "insecure" is something I wouldn't do. RemotelyAnywhere is by far the most secure of its kind. It has several levels of protection that can be enabled or disabled by knowledgeable users. In its most open configuration it's about as secure as similar products at their best.

You would think that the Government and DOD would be more interested in plugging the holes/patching the vulnerabilities but then again, why not go after the person who exploited them since the admins are incapable of performing anything remotely connected to security....
