Otto, about the linux-transmeta-linux-balmer thing:

Transmeta is going down the tubes.

and it's not like linux's success has any direct link with transmeta's success or failure.

Linus will continue to develop the kernel even after transmeta shuts down, so no worries. He'll have even MORE ...

Yeah, why didn't MS Security Manager Scott Culp just call full-disclosure proponents 'information terrorists' the implication is the same and with the new laws being proposed security researchers could find themselves behind bars for disclosing vulnerabilities. ...

MS should realize that just like any other product, the public has the right to know if it contains potential threats to welfare. This would include loss of life but also loss of funds, private information, anything that could potentially be threatening to the comsumer. Case in point, Ford alleged...
