I totally agree. Plus, I agree corporations are not 'sharing' information as they should. If everyone reported, there would be a better "picture" of the attackers intentions. Also, it would make it easier to track them down for prosecution. Everyone needs to work together to combat computer crim...

I don't believe that sentences are long enough in relation to computer crime, also the current legislation is not well implemented by the police(RIP Act 2000)...

businesses should not be so concerned with protecting their reputations and should report any computer crime that occurs within their own institutions. PS just finished an assignment on data protection and this web site was very useful,cheers....

I easily agree that computer crime sentences are not stiff enough, nor do I think enough is being done about the 'crimes'. I have been the victim of Dedicated Denial Service attacks, attempted attacks to my personal computer and total destruction of a Internet Service Provider I was partners in. If ...
