Good job, Jerome! You made all your friends, and anybody else that might have presumed your innocence, look stupid. You managed to waste the time of one of the best lawyers in the business, and tarnish the reputation of any individual that is wrongly accused of computer crimes in the future. Enjo...

Why send such a bright man to prison? Simple: He broke the law

Just because a murderer (yes - I know murder is a far cry from cracking) is "bright" - does that mean he or she should go free? Think about it....

What can I say to someone like you? You believe the legal system is fair because you've never experienced it on any level. And don't say you have. You havn't. Odds are that one day you'll find yourself accused of something and have to make an expedient decision. When you find yourself screaming...

"why send such a bright man to prison?"

If people use computer skills for destruction

there is a price to pay.

No sympathy for turkeys who causes millions

of dollars in damage for no reason.

C'mon. The author well knows that every day people plead guilty in Federal Court to things they didn't do, simply to escape more serious charges. The more flawed the federal case, the bigger the stick and the more enticing the carrot. Remember Wen Ho Lee? In my mind, Hackenkemp's plea doesn't ca...

If anyone wants to read what jerome was saying about the government, his "attackers" you can still do a search on www.freesk8.org in google, and it will come up with the cached page.

It is interesting to read it now that he finally admitted to the breakins.

That first poster had it right. He s...

Some things Heckenkamp did were unethical from a standpoint of a simple human interraction. Jerome offended a lot of judges by making crazy claims like CAPITAL letters issue, asked for "United States" to show up in court, and so on. No matter how right you are, and no matter how wrong they are you m...

I call BS.

Yes, maybe he did do it, maybe he didn't. But the point of following those in charge is wrong. They will willingly lead you down the wrong path for their own benefit.

He didn't make a mockery of the legal system. All of the money hungry lawyers did. They are the ones that allow ...

You know... everyone is talking as if jerome thought up those silly defenses he used in court (like having the gov't present the U.S. in person to prosecute him, or having the U.S. serve the person whose name is spelled in all caps...) These were not jerome's original ideas. Even in freesk8.org, i...
