Report: Phishing attacks on the rise

Despite a handful of successful criminal prosecutions and an increase in public awareness, February saw a marked increase in the number of new variations of the spam-borne swindle called "phishing," according to a report from an industry group released Friday.

Once a Phishing site is detected what is the best process to get it closed down?

Our experience is that it is dependent on the ISP hosting the site, the country in which the site is regietered and the law enforcement agency involved.
