Just a small correction: AFAIK the IIS servers were compromized using a well know exploit, for which the patch were available. The zero day exploit was on the user part....

What if, a big bank like BofA or Citibank, throws up its hands in despair, and says, " We have had enough of computers. No more ATMs. It is back to the old days of personalised services. We are HIRING" ????

I think the point of the artical is that patching is no longer fully effective and that we need to look to other methods of protection. We need a layered approch to secu...
