Perhaps the data-mining piece should be turned over to Google to efficiently index the communication intercepts and 'connect the dots'. Actually I would entrust Google to replace the NSA's and NRO's function of communication surveillance.

The U.S. goverment should have nothing to do with the internet. Sure! they funded the ARPA Net and gave rise to the common day internet. They got lucky! and by no means was it something they foresaw happening, atleast not in the way it has all turned out.

The in efficiency of the U.S government with technology development is a shameful show

of "out the box" thinking, the government is capable of. I would think with 1 billion dollars

we could come up with some decent software to sort and cross reference communications.
