And how would that change anything... If they can launch an attack agaisnt one DNS server, they surely can attack 2 or 3 more spread across different networks... So now instead of having 1 network down, you have 3... :-)...

Except that if all the DNS servers are on one network, the attacker only has to launch one DoS against that network.
