Yes it is...for everyone that is confortable with criptography...and that represents less than 0,01% of all computer users.
Even if there is one of this persons in every big company (big=more than 1000 users) can you see the time spent in cracking and retriving all the data for all the infected use...

These virus trends are unacceptable in the computer industry. The reason why these trends exist, is because the security of the computer world is at a minimum. Most home users will be affected by viruses that demand ransom. Computer security will be at demand in the near future....
