What is Micro$oft doing to address security in the tons of code they release and maintain?
The number of bugs found by people poking around is continuously growing at a steady pace.
I can't believe Micro$oft doesn't have talented people on their payroll.

For the love of god! Stop whingeing!
We are all well aware that MS isn't well versed in writing good solid code with security in mind. (And don't talk to me about Vista, even MS admits they have plans to "start from scratch" with Vista's successor).

Microsoft's big patch day fixes 26 flaws

Microsoft's mass release of patches, at this time, sounds suspiciously like the current Foley flap in the US Congress. So claim it's time to enfluence the elections. The massive patching sounds timed to enfluence decision to move onto Vista. M$ may have been holding back some patches until RC2....
