I cant believe they try and blame Windows for this before themselves. If you put an osx backdoor exectuable on ipods when shipping it would do the exact same thing, its not the operating system at fault here, not even close....

Yes that is a pretty silly statement Apple made, They should have said "We are sorry that the Apple OS isn't good enough of a platform to setup the Apple devices."...

This is bad bad news for companies' security. The threat endpoint devices pose is pretty scurry! GFI just issued an article in response to this Apple ipods shipping out with viruses issue... it's at: http://www.gfi.com/news/en/ipodvirus.htm - seems like threats are rising and keep on rising!...

Oh my god...

first, they should not blame Windows. Its their fault that the virus appeared in the first place. Next, THEY should scan it for us. Its like what the commenter said, if I buy a car,I need to scan it for roaches? Hell no! I don't waste my time on those things.
