Ahhhhh, but if IHOP was giving *free* or *discounted* pancakes away for the your driver's License information I'm guessing the results would be *a lot* different.

It appears that once again a company is taking the wrong measures to solve a problem. This company is attempting to mitigate a financial risk by asking for personal information. And by doing so they are taking on even more risk, from both a legal and a financial liability perspective. All it takes...
