What? Avoid a buzz-word? Any excuse to point fingers at Linux can't be lost, since security issues are so rare. While Windows vulnerabilities are actually in MS Windows, "Linux" problems are, so far as I can remember, always with applications running on Linux and therefore easily and quickly fixed w...

Just guessing here, but could it be that it lives only on Linux systems. In the article, it sais that the worm uses wget. While wget can be found on Windows also, Windows has more viable alternatives :)

And, for sure, "Linux worm" gets more readers than yet another "PHP exploit". :)...

This doesn't seem to be isolated to linux. Its php but php runs on solaris, freebsd, and many other flavors. Not cool to single out Linux with this one....
