Robert, we're extremely conscious of privacy. I think the biggest fallacy is that users have privacy by obscurity, and that any technology that will call this is *evil*. Just imagine the transition from a pre-Altavista era where almost all text also was private by obscurity.
I'd rather see this as an openly available technology rather than covertly done by governments (although I'm sure they'll use it too) because it's going to happen either way....
