I went to their website and read the info on this bug. And now I sit here and think what does it mean? What actually happens if somebody does this? has anybody used this as an attack?

If that's their big bug for day two (a 3rd-party video player), then I suspect that it's going to be more hype than substance... somehow I'm not suprised.

Speaking of which, Kudos to the VLC devs for patching it less than 24 hours of release.
