Thanks for pointing out the extra "the". The date, however, is correct. The results are for the second quarter of fiscal 2008, ending July 28. Fiscal 2009 for TJX goes from January 27, 2008 to January 28, 2009. I added more information on this in the article to clarify the dates.

They are still installing firewalls at store locations. Of course their password policies are still horrible. 6 character passwords to protect customer information. a firewall does not guarantee that their apps will be secured though. they need to pay for real Pro infosec services. i am pretty sure they are paying attention now also with this VISA PCI regulation that is hot all over the world....
