Just wait a little bit and SourceFire will pull the same trick it pulled with Snort. They'll keep the engine free, but not the signatures. You'll be forced to license them and pay money for it. An AV product without current signatures will be totally useless....

They are just scared of companies like mine. Same thing happened with Nessus.

They are worried that our fancy UIs and marketing will beat their technology so they're trying to freeze us out.
