I like the way the CEO tried to make TJX out to be the victim in all this. Almost as if they have no sense of responsibility. But I bet most people will be happy with their gift vouchers and willingly hand over even more of their personal information to be better "protected"....

It is staggering to me that anyone would accept such a settlement. If you remember, this breach occurred due to negligence in the configuration of a WiFi system. I will never shop at any of their stores again. Their stock has done well in spite of the hack; it is just amazing what consumers will put...

Completely typical. They drop the ball, and settle for $60 a person? How about holding them criminally responsible for negligence?
