It is if your social security number, credit card and/or name and address are on one of them and it gets compromised.

This is everyone's problem. If attorneys weren't so backwards they'd be jumping on some class action suits...

That is only considering direct access to database servers. If you consider the amount of Microsoft SQL , Oracle and MySQL servers that have thier data exposed via SQL Injection vulnerabilities, well now that number would be MUCH bigger!...

Interesting, but somehow I doubt that there are 2.34 billion real-use Internet hosts (extrapolate his numbers).
