Im not sure about everyone else, although this doesn't bother me in the slightest. Nessus will still give me the results I need to see. Wouldn't mind seeing it intergrated with a database so I can manipulate the data faster for my custom reports.

Having seen numerous other vulnerabillity scanners, that use Nessus and then dress up the exterior, this seems to make sense. I read an interview with Tenable that said you would still be able to write plugins. This seems like an adequate compromise for the majority of users. Most of us don't truly ...

Agreed. People need to stop getting so upset becuase authors close the source on the applications. Once a product reaches a commercial viability and the author continues to open the product up for free use then you should be satisfied. The fact is the majority of Linux users (myself included) rarel...
