The inherent flaw in DNS was expected to get entangled in politics. The complexity of the matter is due to the weight of name resolution being an essential piece of the internet. I wish to inform Dan and the rest of the readers that Iana is already underway with extensive testing of DNSSEC, Dan will agree that implementation of DNSSEC can be a daunting task that we should not go into unless we are 101% sure its fine, and the only way to do this is test, and test again.
