Did U.S. infowar commandos smuggle a deadly computer virus into Iraq inside a printer? Of course not. So why does it keep getting reported?

there was also the story that HP PA-RISC chips had a bug that
if you push certain values on the stack they would burn out.
the american military transmitted these values in cryptograms
that iraq tried to crack using their HP machines, and that they
all failed....

News papers and other sites also comment on how troops in the US would interupt air defenses/radar to mis-detect US air craft or show it in another location.... And people believe it!?!?

Im not a militiary general or anything, but i dont think any country would hook their radar or similar equip...

Actually, one would more likely utilize active countermeasures in the realm of radar deception rather than attempting to use the Internet or any other data transfer channel to subvert the system.

Or use an AGM-88 HARM or one of its sucessors to remove the offending transmitter....

Yes, indeed this is a "Ageless Joke"

This joke will be remember for years to come not because it was a great hoax,but it symbolizes man's belief in the power of technology and what ___may___ happen if it unleashes its dark side !!!
