Examples of good and bad practice can be drawn from this incident, and I for one do think that Wells Fargo's attempts to mitigate the affects of their contractor's ommissions are laudable. On the other hand we should told what they are doing to prevent such incidents happening again too.

My credit was compromised as well, through Costco. I have called Wells Fargo numerous times to get answers and they are extremely evasive. I spoke to a supervisor wanting to get answers to what is happening and I admit I was very upset, but I actually heard her chuckle with laughter in the backgroun...
