I had installed Service Pack1 for Windows Server 2003 on the very first day Microsoft released it. It took a while to download and install it, but it was fine... no complain as its a big chunk of data. After installation it asked for reboot. Soon as it was rebooted, i could see at least about 12 new...

I'm no fan of M$ or Symantec because large
companies seem to ignore the little guy
(home user and/or samll business).

But my limited experience (about a week or so) with this product gets high marks.

" but at least it provides easy protection for even the most novice users. "

As long as they are expert enough to go switch it on, since it isn't on by default. Microsoft like to say "Secure by Default" they don't often like to do it though....

Real application compatibility would be a nice thing. SP1 has broken at least one ADO.NET method.

ONLY ONE ???

That is a physical impossibility because
(among other things) the author's (of this piece) bug count is up to at least two .,.

Maybe a lottery should be held for who can
guess the number of bugs after 6 months .,.

How about 1 found per day == 365/2 (hehe) ?...
